Dan Ryan- Chief Executive Officer

Dan Ryan has over 21 years experience in the communications industry. Most recently, Mr. Ryan founded AdGorilla, which provides turn-key advertisement insertion equipment and sales to small- and medium-sized cable television operators nationwide, as well as Internet advertising to website hosts via AdGorilla’s iCapture technology.

Mr. Ryan is also the founder of Precis Communications, a company offering cable television and high speed data services to consumers in Utah, Arizona and Nevada, and Blue Vista Communications, a satellite uplinking and transport company built to deliver broadcast signals to rural cable consumers in Utah and Nevada.

Prior to founding Precis, Mr. Ryan was Vice President of Charter Communication’s Rocky Mountain Group, a region with 260,000 customers in 12 western states. Mr. Ryan created the division by hiring 14 management team members and reorganizing the entire field staff. The region was created from 13 different company acquisitions. In 2000, Charter Communications recognized Mr. Ryan’s outstanding performance by nominating him as its representative to the CTAM Advanced Executive Training at Northwestern University.

Previous to joining Charter, Mr. Ryan was executive director of operations at Rifkin and Associates, Inc. (R&A), a medium-sized cable operator that was purchased by Charter Communications in 1999. Mr. Ryan was responsible for managing one of R&A’s cable partnerships and was instrumental in securing financing for R&A’s acquisitions. Mr. Ryan also managed R&A’s rate regulation activities and was R&A’s key liaison to Capitol Hill during the development of the 1996 Telecommunications Act.

Prior to entering the cable television industry, Mr. Ryan worked for US West as an economist and for Lockheed Martin as an economist and operations research manager. Mr. Ryan holds a Master’s degree in Economics from New Mexico State University.

Mr. Ryan is a prior board member of the American Cable Association; a national lobbying group for small cable television operators.

Ray Dowdle - President, AdGorilla

Ray Dowdle joined AdGorilla in October 2009. Mr. Dowdle is responsible for generating advertising revenues for all of AdGorilla's cable, broadcasting and syndicated  properties within the framework of an ever-changing advertising environment.

Ray is the founder of VarVee, Inc., a internet-based, sports media company that collects high school score and statistical information for television stations and newspapers.  Previously, as Vice President/Sales for FOX Television Stations for 15 years Mr. Dowdle was responsible for all revenue generated for FOX's broadcast and cable sales operations in Denver. He created and successfully executed sales strategies for the launches of multiple news and entertainment programs. He has negotiated and sold advertising contracts for spot television, spot cable, sports sponsorships, internet initiatives, promotional partnerships and program acquisitions.

Brian Stuart - President, AdGorilllaq and RevGen Systems

Brian Stuart joined RevGen Systems as President in 2006. He is responsible for directing RevGen Systems’ technology strategy, with a focus on customers' technology initiatives, including developing a custom fit, low-priced, reliable digital-into-digital solution for commercial advertising insertion equipment.

Mr. Stuart has more than 25 years leadership experience in engineering and manufacturing, in implementing technology advances for both consumer products and cable operators, with a successful track record of growing sales and improving profitability.

Prior to joining RevGen Systems, he was the President of Ad Systems, Inc., where he was responsible for the development of a state-of-the-art advertising insertion equipment platform for the broadband industry,  and where he managed an installed equipment base of approximately three million dollars in over 200 systems deployed nationwide. 

Mr. Stuart began his career at Rockwell International, where he worked in the production of aircraft and ground communication radio.  After spending several years in the engineering field at Rockwell, Mr. Stuart formed Integra-Tech, Inc., a service center for consumer products.  Mr. Stuart sold the company in 1995, after which he began his career in the cable television industry. 

Mr. Stuart received a degree in Electronics from Weber State University.

Ray recognizes that while he does now occupy a windowed office, the one that is in fact the largest in the suite, he never did transfer ownership of his BMW M5 to Dan Ryan as required by AdGorilla law. Dan hereby calls out Ray to a beer drinking contest, the winner of which shall own the title of god-of-the-other-person.
